How It Works
We keep the whole job simple and tidy from start to finish. Here is what to expect when you book us in.
Step 1: Preparation
Good prep is what makes a spray finish last. We clean the surface, deal with any small scratches or holes, and mask off everything around the door or window so there is no overspray where you do not want it. Where a door needs to come off to avoid paint reaching other surfaces, we handle that too.
Step 2: Priming
We apply a primer as the base coat. This helps the top coat grip properly and can smooth out the look of small marks and imperfections before the colour goes on.
Step 3: Spraying
We build up the finish in layers, using a primer and top coat. Spraying gives a much smoother result than a brush, with no brush strokes and an even coat that reaches into corners and detailing a brush would miss.
Step 4: Drying and quality check
The finish dries quickly, often in around twenty to thirty minutes between coats. Once the job is done, we run a thorough quality check to make sure the finish meets our standard before we leave.
